Eston, Tammi and baby Will came for a visit last weekend. We had such a great time with them, that baby Will is so good! He just goes wherever, happily looking around. They stayed on the boat with Mom and Dad, he is already a boat boy, not to mention the time he's already spent on his own boat in TN! We hung by the pool, went to dinner Sat. night at the Sun House and did the drum circle on Siesta Key Sunday afternoon. I'll post some pictures as soon as I get my hands on some. I've been really bad these days about taking pictures, so I'll get some from Mom and Tammi.
Max is still not walking but has mastered the art of crawling, man is he fast! His favorite things include anything disgusting like playing in the toilet, eating toilet paper (we quickly learned to keep bathroom doors closed at all times....), playing in the doggie water bowl, garbage, etc. (also learned to keep pantry closed) If he hears you open the fridge he'll come crawling as fast as he can to get there and pull something out, you can here him coming, so you've got to make your decisions fast and close the door before something hits the floor, same with the dishwasher. He's pretty much eating what we eat, a lot of veggies, fruit and is now drinking milk, yay! He is saying a few things (most we don't understand...) Ma Ma, Da Da, and he mumbles, like he's really saying something but we have no idea what it is. Still watches every move James makes and is now trying to do what he does. He can get onto the bottom bunk now, but not down without falling, so I really have to watch him. He is a dare devil without skills.
James can now swim by himself without floaties, he has really gotten good. He wears his goggles so that he can constantly have his face under. He is getting so big! He is so tall and skinny now, we were looking at some of his baby pictures the other day and I had forgotten how round and chunky he was! He can easily count to ten, somewhere around fifteen he starts making up numbers (eleventeen, etc.) He still LOVES his computer games at night, and has gotten really good at them. He loves the reading sites where they sound out words and tell stories. He is super excited about the Lewis family moving here. (me too!) His favorite word these days is "WHY?" over and over and over and over and over.............
We are getting really excited about our family vacation coming up. Next Friday we are flying to Chattanooga, spending some time in TN visiting family and friends and then driving to PA to visit more family and celebrate Max's first birthday at Aunt Cheryls house. We are going to have a pool party, can't wait. Its hard to believe that Max is already turning one!
This year has flown by!
