Dave aka "Hawk eye" noticed this dinghy floating in the middle of the ocean on our crossing back to St.Thomas from St.Croix, we were miles from anywhere so it was a little erie.
We called the Coast guard to make sure noone was missing and they said a dinghy was reported missing from Buck Island off of St.Croix. We stayed for about 30-45min surveying the area, we didn't want to leave anyone behind, just in case. 
We towed the dinghy back to Christmas Cove where we anchored for the night. The Coast guard dropped the ball and we decided they didn't want to fool with this beat up dinghy. Our last night in St.Thomas we found a good home for it.
