Lake Time!

James and Vicki have a lakehouse on Watts Bar so one Saturday we drove on up to the lake for our "lake fix". What a great place they have, its perfect. The boys had a blast and can't wait to come back next year!!

The Wheelers

One of our favorite parts about spending time in TN in the summer is getting to see the Wheeler family. Mindy, AJ, Clayton and Bailey have the coolest house, its like a miniature farm. The boys just LOVE going there. They have veggies gardens all over the yard, trucks and tractors, a trampoline, playground and a Great Dane named Wyatt who is as big as a horse. This is what inspired my veggie garden.

AJ even let James take a ride on his bobcat, what a day! I thought for sure Max would want to drive since he is obsessed with trucks, but he was a little unsure. Thanks for the memories guys!

Nana Katys 91st Birthday!

Kids dancing at wedding

The kids had a great time "dancing" at the reception. I use the term "dancing" very loosely.

Alisas Wedding

The reception was at a really cool warehouse downtown, the kids had a chance to see a train go by.
Me, Alisa and Beth. We've been friends since we were babies, probably in the nursery together at church!! Lots of great memories with these girls. It was so great to have a chance to catch up with everyone, it was like a reunion for our United Methodist youth group. It was so fun to see everyone grown up with kids of their own and watching our kids laugh and play together was priceless! What a great wedding!

The beautiful bride and groom

Nashville

While we were in Nashville we stayed with Patrick, Melody and baby Eva. We had such a great visit, so nice to spend some time with the Duggans.

Summertime in TN

Mindy and I took the kids swimming at the pool where we used to lifeguard when we were in highschool, pretty nostalgic....

Market Street Bridge

Eston and I took the boys to the Market Street Bridge which is a pedestrian bridge crossing the Tennessee River. James and Max rode their bikes across and Eston pushed Will in the stroller. This was a great way to see the whole City and of course the beautiful Tennessee River.

Chattanooga

The boys catching lightning bugs w Aunt Tammi

We took the boys to the Incline Railway and rode up the side of Lookout Mtn in the rain, lots of fun.

See Rock City

Eston, Tammi and I decided to take a little trip to Rock City while the boys and I were visiting them in Chattanooga. We love spending time in Chatt, it is such a great city with so much to do. Tammi was such a great sport, this is her going through the "Fat Man Squeeze"! (Which James informed us wasn't polite, it should be called the big man squeeze....)

I love this!

What a gorgeous view!

Summer

One BIG project...

Hopefully these will be our before pictures of the house that we look back on in a couple of months.....

Summertime fun at Busch Gardens, boys enjoying a ride on the airplanes. Its so nice now that the boys are getting older they can ride so many rides together.

Our church took a field trip to MOSI (Museum of Science and Industry) in Tampa one Sunday afternoon. Nana, D Daddy and Gracie joined me and the boys for a great afternoon. Gracie somehow talked me into climbing on this crazy contraption where you are strapped into a harness and you have to walk across tiny beams and ropes. I had no idea I was so afraid of heights!! It was a lot of fun, but very unnerving.....
