Latest Project.....here we go again!

Here are a few "before" photos of our new project:

We found this cool old screen door in the attic, this is currently Max's room, but will eventually be part of the kitchen/dining room.
Our first project was to remove all of the old nastly insulation from the attic, fun stuff!

Finally!

Okay, so it seems to be a couple of months between blogs...... I've got to get better at this.

What has happened since Dec? Well, we are officially moved into our new project downtown. We have all adjusted surprisingly well considering what a major change it has been. Its actually a lot of fun being downtown, the boys and I love going to the farmers market on Main St. on Saturday mornings and there is always some sort of block party going on, it seems Bradenton is always looking for a reason to party!

Jim and Todd are extremely busy with work, we are so blessed! Jim and I may be heading to Marathon this weekend to replace an autopilot on a clients boat. One good thing about this time of year is that a lot of our clients take off for the Keys and/or Bahamas and as boats will be boats, problems arise..... Freundship Marine to the rescue! By the way, I finally got out website up and running, still needs some detailing but at least it is up......

The boys are doing great, we are finally recovering from couple of weeks of sickness which was no fun at all. The weather is absolutely beautiful this time of year, ahhhh, this is why we live here! I have taken the boys to the beach at least three times in the past week, its just too nice not to get out and enjoy it.

James is doing great in VPK, he is so stinkin smart. He is becoming such a big boy, I can't believe his will be five next month. He still carries his stinky blanket with him around the house, it is looking more like a rag than a blanket these days.... He still loves playing his guitar and drums, making up songs and drawing/doing "crafts". We are planning on celebrating his Birthday at Busch Gardens this year, he is so excited, and Uncle Eston, Aunt Tammi and Baby Will are going to be here to celebrate with us, yay! They are getting a house on Siesta Key for a week, can't wait to spend some time with that baby.

Max is a full blown 2 1/2 year old these days. He is still so funny but is definitely testing out his independence with us, the good thing is we still remember James at this age and remember the nonsense demands, etc. He makes us all laugh so hard because he always seems to be in his own little world, looking around and constantly running into things because he isn't paying attention to where he is going. He talks so well and can form really long sentences, his latest saying is "so badly", like "I'm freezing so badly", or "my foot hurts so badly". He still has an unbelievable appetite and will eat pretty much anything you put in front of him (sometimes even after expressing how much he doesn't want it)

The office downstairs is looking more and more like an actual office and I enjoy having a nice space to do taxes and payroll, order parts, etc. I, like most moms/wives, am trying to keep it all balanced between kids, husband, house and business. I am going to try and get to the gym more often for my "me" time. We have such a great group of parents at church, we really help keep each other grounded, and we laugh, A LOT!!

I'll try to do better updating our blog, but if you want an update, just check Allysons facebook or blog, she's great at staying in touch!!

Christmas Program

The boys Christmas program was at school today. They did such a great job, well, James and Nathan sang really loud and did all of the hand motions, but Max only stood there with a frightenend and confused look on his face. Nathan was Joseph and James had a part in Rudolph, yelling out the little parts in between, note the enthusiasm......you can hear his cute little deep voice. James is in the right top hand corner with his Christmas hat on and Nathan is in the middle with a white thing on his head as Joseph. Good stuff.

Christmas time!

James is helping us pack by decorating boxes and pretending to be a "robot".

Thanksgiving

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at Gg and Popsters new house. Yummy! The kids had a blast, it was so great having so much of our family together.

Our latest project!

Halloween

Unfortuntely Max had a horrible stomach bug all day on Halloween. We did take the boys around the block, but had to limit the sweets when we were finished trick or treating, not an easy thing on Halloween!

The official pumpkin carving..... The pumpkin James picked from the patch was more like a gourd and smelled like a cucumber inside, nice!

Our little artist

Well, James hadn't drawn in a while, but suddenly our little artist is back! Check out the "music book" he decided to make one day, I was shocked! I'm not even sure where he has seen musical notes, maybe he'll be our little musician (like Uncle Eston.... sorry Aunt Allyson....you got the singing talent.)
