Max is really sitting up well now and is trying

James was REALLY excited about his bicycle that Santa brought.

James (aka Superman) got an easel from Santa too, and he LOVES

to draw on it, good job Santa!!

Max went to the Orthopaedist today for a recheck on his feet and hips. They did another xray of his hips and he appears to have something called Acetabular Dysplasia, which basically means "shallow hip joints". The Dr. gave us a special sling/hip harness for him to sleep in which keeps his legs in the "frog" position, hopefully helping the sockets to deepen over time. We are supposed to use it every night for 6-8 weeks. Tonight is his first night, so far so good, but I can't imagine that it is very comfortable. Luckily, Max is a very laid back boy and thought it was very funny that we were putting this thing on him before bed. We'll see how long that lasts.........
