Well the summer is getting close to an end...... the boys will start "school" on
August 24th. They will both be going on Tues. and Thurs from 9-12pm. I decided
to put Max in this year too because I think it did wonders for James socially, Max
really hasn't been away from Mommy, so I think it will be good for him. PLUS,
Mommy can get some much needed projects done around home.....

James said to me the other day "Mommy, you're my favorite girl." He melts my
heart sometimes! He continues to say the funniest things on a daily basis, keeping
Jim and I on our toes. For example, he just renamed Max, "Max Slobber Freund" He still loves to draw and is getting better every day. He
now swims pretty much exclusively without his floaties. He gets along pretty good
with his little brother even though Max is really starting to get into his toys.
Our battles these days are whining and talking back, he's gotten a little sassy for my
taste. But as usual some days are better than others. He is super excited about
going back to school and asks every morning, is it school day today Mommy? He
is going to be in his "best" buddies Devin and Nathans class this year, that poor
teacher...........

Max is really walking now, which I love because he is so heavy!! Along with the
independence of walking of course comes some other issues, he is now officially into
everything!!! And has just recently starting throwing some little "fits", like when I
put him in the car seat he arches his back and screams...... I guess he's learning to
express himself?! I definitely remember this stage with James. The good thing
is that he is more content to play by himself for periods of time. He is still such a happy
boy always smiling and laughing. He loves to swim too, mostly floating in his "cheerio"
He loves to dance too and clap his hands. He has started climbing on everything just
like his brother, I really have to watch him. I'm afraid he's as fearless as James, this
could get interesting the older he gets with James to guide him...

Business is going great, we've managed to stay busy through the summer which is
usually our slowest season. Jim is very proud of his employees, the guys are doing
a great job and keeping that great reputation Jim has built. Todd has been a God
sent, and is feeling in all of the gaps, in the office and in the field. There are some big
jobs on the horizon and we continue to be blessed with the success of Freundship Marine.

Mommy is loving having her best friend two blocks away. I never dreamed my
sister and I would be able to raise our families together, and it makes me so happy
to have her here, what a blessing.
